Moms In C-Suites Prepare The Lunch

Lunch:

Tidy yourself up, so you look neat and clean.

On no account should it appear that you have done a lot of work in the course of the day. You should look that relaxed and well-groomed. As if all that you have been doing is taking care of yourself and ensuring that you are dressed well in fresh and neatly pressed clothes.

Heat the food once the men arrive and then freshen up

Make light conversation with everybody. Make sure that all are included in the conversation.  Find something pleasant to talk about. A joke would be lovely. There could be a lot of pressure at work and so a bit of laughter might just be the sweet tonic to reduce the tension.

Clear the table after lunch and let the maid clean the vessels.

What's all this got to do with C-Suites, you say?

 Everything.

As high profile her office duties are, she remains and will always remain a Mom/Wife first. (Wink, wink!)

After The Men Leave, Until Lunch Time

After the men leave for work, somewhere in between your other chores, find the time to water the plants in the house. Spending some time weeding out the grass, giving the pots a good shake over so as to loosen up the soil and sweeping the area everyday is a time well-spent alone.

Then, supervise the cleaning and dusting of the house. Your house should be spic and span and ready to receive visitors by nine in the morning.

Have all the bathrooms cleaned, even those not in use – from the tiles to the toilet bowl, everyday.
Arrange fresh flowers in the vase in the living room.  If you don’t know how to do it, go to a class as soon as you read this book!

Supervise the cooking or watch your mother-in-law as she supervises
In the meantime, put the clothes in the washing machine after all have had their bath.

Tell the maid to dry the clothes once washed

Dry clothes inside out so that the colors of the clothes do not fade

Go out, if you like, to visit friends or with your mother-in-law between 9-11.30 a.m.

After you return, set the table for lunch

Yes, Moms In C-Suites have to take care of all these pesky duties too.  A room with a view, aka corner office, doesn’t absolve her of her household duties! (Wink, wink)
