After The Wedding...
So, the first day after the wedding begins with cleaning up the room. The plate of fruits goes to the fridge and the udari flowers and the malas are taken and decorated around the Tulsi pot.
That done, change the sheets and replace it with new, fresh-smelling sheets.
How to? Here's how...
Lift the edges of the width of the sheet. Lift it up and shake it firmly two or three times before you tuck in the edges neatly to the bottom of your mattress.
Have a shower and wear one of the new dresses or saris and go back to the mandap to complete the rituals.
Say bye to your parents and family. The elders (parents in law) will take you to meet their friends and relatives.
Just make sure he too is introduced to your family. (Hm...)
After the introductions are made, a visit to the temple is mandatory..
And then you go for your honeymoon, for around a week to ten days. Sometimes, this is determined by company rules and regulations.
